Urinary Tract Infection Program (UTI) for NSW Pharmacies.
Delivering a modernised and cloud-based platform for Australian pharmacies.
Coming August 2024
The launch of our new cloud-based solution to pharmacies is fast approaching and we look forward to sharing more information with you over the coming weeks.
What does being cloud-based mean?
Being in the cloud or cloud computing as it's also known, means that a software is accessible on-demand via the internet.
How will my pharmacy benefit?
Cloud-based software will offer improved accessibility to the platform and will enhance your in-pharmacy workflows. Think being able to record patient vaccinations on a tablet or laptop away from your dispensary computer. Additionally, our ability to innovate with new and enhanced functionality will be optimised ensuring that we can continue to deliver effective solutions aligned with the needs of our pharmacy partners as we work collaboratively into the future.
Have you had the chance to explore the latest updates to our App?
Since March, a continuous flow of enhancements has been introduced to the MedAdvisor App (and apps powered by MedAdvisor). Patients are now reaping the benefits of:
Simplified onboarding with social login integrations via Apple, Google and Microsoft.
Streamlined eScript ordering with the removal of a lengthy verification process.
Biometric authentication offering a secure and convenient login experience.
Improved order progress visibility driving patients to the pharmacy at the right time.
Enhanced search functionality making it easier for patients to connect to their preferred pharmacy.
In May I had the pleasure of travelling around Australia for a series of App Sign Up Masterclasses, working with interns, pharmacists and staff to understand some of the challenges, deliver training sessions and enhance workflow processes to increase app sign-ups.
I was thrilled to witness the excitement surrounding the latest enhancements in version 7 of the app, such as Microsoft, Google, and Apple logins, upgraded pharmacy search functionality, order tracking capabilities, and much more.
Join our online App Sign-up Master Class now to discover these exciting new features and effective strategies to boost patient adherence and increase basket sizes through the app.
These sponsored programs give your pharmacy additional motivation to sign up Crestor or Nebilet patients to the MedAdvisor app and apps powered by MedAdvisor.
For each eligible patient signed up to the app, your pharmacy will be remunerated $5.
Patients who sign up to the app are automatically enrolled in the Crestor or Nebilet Adherence Program. Adherence Programs benefit patients by providing additional support to improve quality use of medicines, enhance medication adherence and achieve treatment outcomes.
Patients who receive the Crestor Adherence Program average 3 more dispenses over a 12-month period compared to patients not signed-up to MedAdvisor to receive the program.
Log into the Health Services Hub today to see which of your Crestor and Nebilet patients are yet to be signed up to the app. Not only can you help these patients to stay on track with their treatment, but your pharmacy will be remunerated for each new app sign-up and can benefit from additional dispensing opportunities.
Book in for our App Sign-up Master Class today to ensure all your patients are receiving additional support to help them improve their medication adherence and achieve better health outcomes.

What advice would you give pharmacy owners who don’t have a website?
We asked recently published website owners, Stephanie & Claire from Westgarth Pharmacy this question.
“I would recommend anyone to build a website as it increases your presence in the market place. For us, it’s like having someone working on the business but not in store. Bookings for vaccinations and services were taking up so much staff work time. The booking platform has saved us in store staff hours. We have already had customers tell us how easy it is to book vaccinations and services on our website."
Westgarth Pharmacy is excelling at providing customers with the convenience they desire. Unsure of where to begin without a website? Reach out to us today. Enjoy the benefit of paying nothing until June 30, 2024.
