Telehealth Integrations

We're excited to announce the launch of telehealth within the MedAdvisor App (and apps powered by MedAdvisor). We're making it simple for patients to access a GP when they need it most.

Telehealth integrations will be made possible thorough our respective partners inclusive of; Doctors on Demand, Hola Health, Instant Scripts and MedMate.

How does this empower your pharmacy?

Telehealth will provide the added benefit of acting as a new script pipeline with patients seamlessly pre-ordering their eScripts directly through the App following their consult. 

Please note: Telehealth provider availability may vary between different Apps.

Telehealth is the latest new feature in a wider series of updates which have already been implemented in the MedAdvisor App since March.

Patients are already enjoying the benefits of:

• Simplified onboarding with social login integrations via Apple, Googe and Microsoft. 
• Streamlined eScript ordering with the removal of a lengthy verification process.  
• Biometric authentication offering a secure and convenient login experience.
• Improved order progress visibility driving patients to the pharmacy at the right time.
• Enhanced search functionality making it easier for patients to connect to their preferred pharmacy.

Patient Adherence Programs:

Providing Support for Your Patients 

MedAdvisor’s Patient Adherence Programs are curated with brand sponsors to deliver educational content that has been expertly developed and timed to encourage patients to take their medications as prescribed.

Patients have the potential to improve their health outcomes when they are empowered to remain adherent to their medications. Over 80% of patients responding to our post-program surveys agree that the extra support provided by an Adherence Program is useful to their medication journey, and 62% agree these programs assist them in taking and filling their scripts more reliably. 

Owing to improved adherence and persistence, patients receiving an Adherence Program are dispensed, on average, up to 4 more of their scripts per year compared to patients not receiving one of these programs. Our current suite of Patient Adherence Programs have delivered over 575,000 additional dispenses in pharmacies nationally. 

Pharmacies can ensure eligible patients are receiving the additional support of an Adherence Program by signing up customers to their pharmacy app.

How can I get involved?  

• Check your Health Services Hub DAP Tile to know which medication brands are supported by an Adherence Program and which of your patients are eligible for a Program. 
• Be prepared to have conversations with patients on supported brands. Sign them up to your pharmacy’s App to ensure automatic enrolment into an Adherence Program.  
• Check your MedAdvisor for Pharmacy (PlusOne) Inbox regularly to learn when new Patient Adherence Programs launch. 
• Give your pharmacy team a list of target brands to ensure eligible patients are signed up to your pharmacy app as a priority.
